Compliance

Cross-chain execution that compliance can work with

Squid is built fully verifiable and traceable. Every transaction across chains is inspectable, auditable, and structured to support the monitoring workflows that institutional compliance teams require.

Squid standardizes cross-chain execution into a single, traceable flow. Instead of piecing together multiple bridges and transactions, each transfer is routed and settled through one unified endpoint, making it easier to monitor, record, and reconcile activity across chains.

For institutions, it means clearer audit trails, fewer integration points, and better control over how value moves across networks without sacrificing the flexibility of operating in a multichain ecosystem.

Compliance-Relevant Properties

  • End-to-End Traceability: Squid transactions are traceable from source chain to destination chain. Transaction IDs, routing paths, token flows, and execution timestamps are all onchain and accessible.

  • No Off-Chain Custody: Squid does not take custody of funds at any point in the routing process.

  • Monitoring Workflows: Squid's transaction data can be fed into existing on-chain monitoring tools (Chainalysis, TRM, Elliptic) via standard APIs. Compliance doesn't require a separate bespoke integration.

Common Use Cases

  • Institutions moving across chains yet desire auditability and traceability

  • Compliance teams auditing cross-chain treasury movements

  • Legal teams assessing counterparty exposure in multi-chain transactions

  • Risk teams building monitoring workflows for cross-chain activity
