Squid Stack

The Squid Stack is a multi-layer, full-stack cross-chain architecture with three core layers.

1. Tooling and Infrastructure

At the foundation of the Squid Stack sits tooling and infrastructure: from APIs, SDKs, Widget, MCP service, token service and chain onboarding systems, it's all the tooling developers and ecosystems need to integrate once and access the entire multi-chain landscape.

2. The Routing and Settlement Engine

At the heart sits two interoperability engines: Squid Intents and CORAL.

  • Squid Aggregator is Squids intelligent routing and indexing protocol. It connects to Squid Intents and Coral, but also DEXs, Bridges, Axelar GMP, LayerZero and more.

  • Squid Intents is Squids next-generation settlement layer, executing transactions through a TEE-based execution environment with a solver network fulfilling those intents. It's chain-agnostic and treats blockchains as mere settlement layers where execution is transferred offchain.

  • CORAL is Squids routing and execution engine connecting liquidity across chains through third-party aggregators, bridges, and market makers. It uses an RFQ-based mechanisms to find the most efficient path for each transaction and is the layer responsible for price discovery, routing, and execution under real-world conditions.

3. Squids Consumer Products

At the top sits Squids consumer products like Squid Bridge and the Squid App, delivering the infrastructure through mediums users love and cherish.

The Full Stack Approach

This full-stack approach allows Squid to do three things: connect everything across chains, make execution efficient, and make cross-chain usable. It reflects a broader philosophy, where powerful infrastructure is delivered through experiences that feel effortless, not technical. While others compete only on speed, cost, or coverage, Squid combines performance with design, creating infrastructure that is not only functional, but usable and cohesive at scale.
