Coral V1

Coral V1 is the first version of Squid's intent-based protocol, supporting EVM-to-EVM cross-chain swaps with sub-5 second execution times.

Key Characteristics

  • EVM-only: Supports Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, Optimism, Polygon, BNB Chain, Celo, Blast, Linea, Berachain, Gnosis, Soneium, XRPL EVM, HyperEVM, Peaq

  • ~25 Second Route Expiry: Routes must be submitted within ~25 seconds of being requested

  • ~1 Hour Refunds: Failed transactions are automatically refunded on the source chain

  • Same API: Uses the standard /v2/route endpoint — Coral V1 routes are automatically chosen when available

Getting Coral V1 Enabled

Coral V1 is not enabled by default. Contact the Squid team to enable it on your integrator ID.
