Squid Aggregator
The Squid aggregator-router is the core routing layer that powers efficient cross-chain execution by indexing and connecting to a wide range of liquidity and messaging sources, including Squid Intents, CORAL, major DEXs, bridges, Cosmos, and interoperability protocols like Axelar and LayerZero. By maintaining our own internal data infrastructure, we can rapidly discover, evaluate, and optimize routes across fragmented ecosystems, selecting the most efficient path for cost, speed, and reliability.
Rather than relying solely on external aggregators, Squid’s router operates as an intelligent coordination engine, bridging onchain liquidity, offchain execution (via Intents), and market maker fulfillment (via CORAL or Squid Intents), abstracting away complexity and deliver seamless, single-step cross-chain transactions.
When a user submits an action, Squid determines the best route across these services to execute it quickly, securely, and efficiently. Just like internet routers decide how packets move across networks, the Squid Aggregator decides how value moves across chains.
